"The discipline endured is the mastery achieved."
Edgar Whitney
In 2005, I happened to pick
up a copy of an art magazine while having a tire repaired. In it was an
article about getting started in watercolor, and after purchasing paint
and paper I set off on a mission to become a "
painter of watercolor."
Little did I know at that time that proficiency in this medium was not
easy to obtain. It was, however, one of the most visually appealing
journies I had undertaken.
After years of practice, acres of paper and words of encouragement from
family and friends, I have finally perfected the techniques that it
takes to produce a few "good works." Armed with imagination, large
flat brushes and bold colors, I strive to produce work that entertains
and pleases the eye. Some of my inspirations are Sterling Edwards,
Zoltan Szabo, Frank Webb, Ratindra Das and Don Andrews. I am pleased to
have my paintings in numerous private and corporate collections.
